Local Food

Local Foods Plymouth (LFP) is a year-round online farmers market, fiscally sponsored by PAREI. LFP answers the need to strengthen our regional food system and increase access to fresh, locally produced foods across a 45-mile radius in rural, central New Hampshire. Our mission is twofold: to support local producers and increase regional production, while also making it easier for families of all income levels to purchase healthy, local food. Over the last 20 years, LFP has supported local farmers and vendors by selling over $1 million of local foods and products.

2024 by the numbers:
2,338 orders
291 unique buyers
40 local farmers and vendors

Renewable Energy

For the last 21 years, PAREI has been a local solar leader, and we have supported more than 400 solar projects in our region. We offer onsite solar assessments, technical assistance and grant writing support, and solar design and installation for residential and commercial customers.

Sustainable Living

PAREI partners with NH Saves to offer statewide energy efficiency workshops called NH ButtonUP. The 1.5-hour presentation covers energy saving tips and energy efficiency programs. Participants learn about saving electricity, insulation and air sealing, energy audits and weatherization, rebates on electric and gas appliances, the Home Energy Performance program and other utility and government energy efficiency incentives. Each year we offer 24 workshops.
