Plymouth, NH: The Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative (PAREI) is holding a Mini Farmers Market and Plant and Tool Swap on Saturday June 22nd from 2 – 4pm at their new headquarters and local foods pavilion located at 300 Main Street (near the Rte 3/Fairgrounds Rd intersection) in Plymouth.
Do you have any leftover vegetable seedlings that need a home or tools that are sitting unused? Come swap what you have for something you need. Perennials, Indoor Plants, Garden and Yard Tools, Carpentry and Home Maintenance Tools. Bring any number of items to swap and go home with the same number of items. At 4pm, all items will be available to anyone for a donation to PAREI.
This event is part of PAREI’s larger 20th Anniversary Celebration Event running from 2 – 6pm at the same location. There will be music by the Kingfisher Band (3 – 6pm), Full Circle Food Truck (2 – 6pm), Common Man Ice Cream and Popcorn. Come learn how to turn a chicken feed bag into a re-useable shopping bag or take part in our Kitchen Inspired Cooking Demo on the hour starting at 2:30pm. Try your hand at the PAREI Trivia Game for Adults and Kids with prizes! Bring a chair, listen to the music and learn more about the history of PAREI and Local Foods Plymouth.
