Shop Local Foods Plymouth

Local Foods Plymouth’s mission is to strengthen our regional food system by connecting small farmers and producers with local buyers through a year-round, community-supported marketplace. We keep food dollars local, support independent producers, and help ensure that our community has a choice in where its food comes from.

Local Foods Plymouth (LFP) was created to provide farmers with a dependable, year-round sales channel while reducing food miles. Today, it plays a critical role in our region’s food security, supports small-scale producers, and expands equitable access to fresh, local food in a rural area where these food systems are increasingly fragile.

LFP strives for a regional food system in which:

  • Small farmers and producers have access to a viable sales channel
  • Local food is accessible by community members across income levels
  • Food dollars remain in our local economy
  • The infrastructure supports long-term economic, community, and environmental resilience

Farm to Community Food Share

Local Foods Plymouth is committed to bringing farm-fresh, locally grown, nutritious food to under-served community members experiencing food insecurity. Barriers like transportation, income, and digital access can make healthy food harder to reach.

As part of our neighbor helping neighbor mission, we believe it’s our responsibility to be the network that shares our community’s harvest. All people have the right to eat healthy — that’s why we created the Farm to Community Food Share Program. Donate online at the link below.
