Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Ariane!

At PAREI, our volunteers are the heartbeat of our work—and this month, we’re excited to highlight one of our dedicated community members: Ariane!

Ariane first got involved with PAREI about five years ago, helping to create the walking path around the Solar Shares Project at Frosty Scoops in Plymouth. Since then, she’s rolled up her sleeves at multiple clean-up days—at our office, at Solar Shares Plymouth and in Center Harbor. Most recently, she joined the Local Foods Plymouth (LFP) volunteer crew this past fall, bringing her energy and passion to our weekly operations.

When we asked Ariane what she loves most about volunteering with PAREI, her answer was simple: the people. “Everyone is very friendly, not to mention like-minded in efforts to do what we can to support sustainable living,” she shared.

Outside of volunteering, Ariane lives for the outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, or adventuring on her travels, she’s always on the move and exploring new places.

Fun fact? Ariane shares a birthday with Sandra Jones—a special connection that makes our PAREI family feel even closer!

One of the things that delights Ariane most about PAREI is how we keep lower-income community members in mind—especially through Solar Shares and the Farm-to-Community Food Sharing Program. It’s values like these that keep our mission grounded, and our community connected.

Thank you, Ariane, for helping us create a brighter future for our local communities. We are lucky to have you in the PAREI family!
